5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS ORANG UTAN & ELEPHANT TOUR PACKAGE

DAY 01: ARRIVAL MEDAN – BUKIT LAWANG (2,5 – 3 hrs drive)

Arrive at Kuala Namu International Airport with flight… Welcomed by our representative / driver cum guide. Drive to Bukit Lawang the conservation of the Orangutans located in Gunung Leuser National Park through by landscape with vast view of palm oil and rubber plantation. En-route stops at of rubber, oil palm and cacao plantations with some countryside landscape.

Hotel: Eco Lodge Bukit Lawang Cottages or Sam Bungalow or similar.

DAY 02: BUKIT LAWANG – VISIT THE ORANG UTANS & 3 HOURS JUNGLE TREKKING (B)

After breakfast, you will visit the Orang Utans at feeding platform at their natural habitat. After that you continue jungle trekking for 3 hours to explore the park. This involves an hour walk through the jungle to reach the feeding grounds of the orang utan. Steep, slopes and dense vegetation will bring you the excitement of the rainforest. In this tropical primary rainforest, you can see the varieties of birds, butterflies, siamang (long arm apes), different kinds of reptiles The rest is your own program, you can swim or take a beautiful walk to

the local village nearby.

DAY 03: BUKIT LAWANG – TANGKAHAN (B) / 5 hrs drive

After breakfast, depart to Tangkahan. Arriving in Tangkahan, you will cross over the Batang River by local raft to the lodge inn. 2 overnight stays in Tangkahan.

Hotel: Mega Inn / Jungle Lodge or similar

Remarks :

-  All lodges in Tangkahan & Bukit Lawang are simple and clean. No warm water available

-  The schedule of Elephant bathing and trekking are 10.00 AM, 11.00 AM and 02.00PM

-  Elephant ride is not available on Friday due to the Elephant are used by ranger for jungle patrol

DAY 04:  TANGKAHAN ELEPHANT TREKKING (B)

Breakfast will serve at the lodge. Morning, you will go for Elephant trekking explore part of the Leuser National Park about 1 hour. Afternoon will be free at your own leisure. You can walk a long the bank of the Buluh river, to see thousand beautiful butterflies by the river, visiting and bathing at the small waterfall in the rainforest close to the river and or swimming in Buluh river itself (optional).

05:  TANGKAHAN – MEDAN – DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, free program until pick up from hotel. Leaving Tangkahan for Medan. Proceed to airport of Kuala Namu to catch your flight to next destination. End of services.
